Tim Price serves as a portfolio manager and partner with our digital assets and blockchain technology division. Prior to his involvement with Atlatl, Tim was Principal of RiverRock Investors, a consulting firm specializing in algorithmic investing models. His past experiences also have included senior positions in 2 start-up quant funds, CIO for a $1 billion RIA, and financial analyst for a boutique private equity firm. Tim has earned a MBA from the University of Wisconsin and also is a CFA charter holder. Tim and his wife Cara enjoy spending their free time at their Montana cabin exploring the greater Yellowstone ecosystem preferably with a fly rod in his right hand and a trout coming to the net in the left.
Mark serves as the Director of Investments for Atlatl Advisers. Mark is the Baird Professor of Finance and Director of the Wealth Management & Financial Planning Program in the Wisconsin School of Business. His research and teaching interests include investment management, wealth management & financial planning. For more than two decades he was the director of the UW Madison Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP).
Mark earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is associate editor of the Financial Planning Review, the flagship publication of the CFP Board. In his role with ASAP, Mark managed equity and fixed income portfolios for the UW-Madison Foundation and UW-System. For many years, Mark was a consultant to the UW-System where he selected outside investment managers and wrote investment policies. In addition, he co-managed an alternative asset portfolio, a fund of funds, and a long-short equity fund between 2000 and 2012. Since 2015 he founded his own registered investment advisory firm which, after joining forces with the remainder of the team developed into Atlatl Advisers.

Ross founded Atlatl Advisers and serves as a Managing Director and Financial Adviser, particularly with the team’s high net worth clients. Ross began his career in finance as an analyst at a hedge fund before specializing in Private Wealth Management. After attending the University of Chicago, Ross furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin and became the first graduate from the Wealth Management and Financial Planning Program, which his father, Mark Fedenia, Ph.D. founded. With his progressive vision and strategic direction, Ross is an innovative leader of the group. When away from the office, Ross enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Emily. As a former collegiate soccer player, he remains active both as a player and a member of the local community.

Stephanie is integral to the success of Atlatl Advisers. As a cofounder, Stephanie serves as the Director of Operations, managing and executing the needs of our clients. She began her career in 2010 with UBS and developed a wealth of knowledge that has led to her success today. While her experience in the industry is second to none, above all else, she enjoys developing and maintaining relationships with clients. Stephanie received a B.B.A. in finance from UW-Whitewater where she studied finance and accounting. Away from the office, if Stephanie is is not traveling you may see her on a waterski, snowmobile, or competing in a triathlon. She is also active in the community through her volunteer work at Habitat for Humanity.
Lauren joined the team at Atlatl as Director of Compliance. Lauren holds a doctoral degree from Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison. With a background in scientific research and teaching, Lauren brings her attention to detail, integrity, and project management skills to Atlatl. Outside of the office, Lauren can be found managing her farm with her husband and Australian Shepherd, hiking, and canning jam.
Hunter started with Atlatl Advisers in 2022 as an Associate Financial Adviser. Hunter received her degree in Finance and Economics from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Outside of the office, she is passionate about outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, and hunting as well as fostering dogs and spending time with family. Hunter is also a fervent volunteer in the community. She serves as President for Momentum Professional Inc., Co-Chair of Membership for Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women (WCREW), a member of the Young Professional Committee for First Tee Southcentral Wisconsin, and an ambassador for the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce.
LuAnn joined Atlatl as the Director of Client Experience. Her background includes more than two decades of experience in the healthcare industry with more recent experience in finance and design. She brings an understanding and skill set aimed at connecting an organization to individuals on an authentic and transformative basis. LuAnn received her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota. Outside of the office, LuAnn loves to design, travel and spend time with her extended family and friends.
Emily is the Director of Marketing at Atlatl Advisers. With a background in client facing industries, as well as human resources, her diverse experience adds essential value aimed at connecting an organization to individuals on an authentic and transformative basis. While away from the office, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, being outdoors, and reading with a big cup of hot tea.
Mary serves as the Retirement Plan Adviser at Atlatl Advisers. She assists advisers, consultants, and plan sponsors in assessing and enhancing retirement plans. Mary’s professional background spans more than two decades and includes the following specialties:
She has achieved the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Adviser (CPFA) designations through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Mary also holds a Series 65 license. Mary is a published author and the Chair of ASPPA’s Plan
Consultant Magazine. She was also named on National Association of Plan Advisors’ (NAPA) list of Top Women Advisors as an MVP in 2015 and an All-Star in 2016 and 2020.
